Each class is practical and creative. You’ll learn how to measure, cut, and sew while exploring fabrics and techniques. Step by step, you’ll work on your own clothing piece — from simple projects to more advanced creations. Guidance is personal, so whether you’re starting fresh or building on existing skills, you’ll shape something truly your own.

WEAR IT

New skills in sewing, tailoring, and working with patterns. Confidence in using the sewing machine and handling different fabrics. A personal creative process, guided step by step. Your own handmade items: an etui, a bag, and a unique self-designed garment. Inspiration for sustainable choices – repair, customize, and create clothing that truly fits you.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Duration: 10 lessons of 2 hours
Days:       Tuesday evening (19:00 – 21:00) or Friday morning (10:00 – 12:00)
Price:       €395,-
Includes:  Use of sewing machines and tools, professional guidance by Rasa Gaspers, basic fabric for the first projects (pencil case / tote bag)
Bring:       Your own fabric and inspiration or a sewing project you want to work on
Group:      Minimum 4 – maximum 8 participants

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Rasa Gaspers is a skilled dressmaker and sewing instructor originally from Lithuania, who has lived in the Netherlands for over 30 years. Sewing has been her passion since childhood, inspired by her tailor grandfather and the expressive fashion of the 1990s. With over 30 years of couture experience, she designs and creates with intuitive ease.


Her sewing classes (for beginners and advanced students) cover practical skills such as machine use, measuring, pattern reading, fitting, and finishing techniques. Rasa emphasizes sustainable, well-fitting, personalized garment making—a thoughtful response to fast fashion and digital overload. She believes creating with your hands or repairing treasured clothes is deeply rewarding and inspiring.
