Acrylic paint is a versatle medium that can be used in a number of different ways to create unique paintings. Use water, add mediums, play with layers of paint, add materials and just experiment. During this course you get to play with paint and find your own style.
Each class is a hands-on experience. You can brainstorm, sketch, test, and paint – or simply dip in and paint. Along the way you’ll learn new techniques, with personal guidance for your way of working. Every participant is here to develop their own creative methods.

Selanna Holleman is a multidisciplinary artist and art educator, trained at the Breitner Academy in Amsterdam. With a background in painting, drawing, ceramics, and film, she brings a broad artistic perspective to her classes.
In her painting and drawing courses, Selanna encourages students to explore their own visual language while building technical skills in areas like composition, light and shadow, and color. Her calm and supportive teaching style creates a space where creativity, experimentation, and personal growth come together.
